Murkse is a small CFA registered cattery concentrating on Exotics. They got the personality of the Persian, but are much less demanding of constant grooming, therefore the nickname “lazy-man’s Persian”.
We breed solids and tabbies and recently decided to expand into bi-colors. Sincere thanks go to Sveta of Svetuna’s cattery for sending us Bella.
We are located in Chicago metro area. We have big dreams and hope to bread a National Winner some day while enjoying our cats and people we meet along the way.
Though I feel almost as a new comer, passion for pedigree cats was born a long time ago, with my first cattery Paunksme registered in FiFe back in 1995 while still in my teenage years. I am very happy that after so many changes in my life I finally can devote time and other resources for my old hobby. My husband and our toddler son shares the excitement and love for our furry family members.
